From SK Facebook Page::::
The world changes every day.
Seasons and cycles,
Suns and moons,
Births and deaths.

We endure, briefly.
Struggle and rejoice, succeed and fail to love and create,
Pick up the pieces to begin again and move on.
Try to open our hearts to the beauty and mystery of existence.
If only for a moment.
That’s all it takes.

And a moment’s all we have.

Bernie Worrell has passed.
I’ve known no sweeter man, shared no better times.
Never laughed harder, never had my heart more opened to joy and creativity in the moment than in his presence.

He made this life worth living for so many people.
I’m so sorry he’s gone.
We love you Bernie!!

We can never thank you enough.
God bless and keep you, rest in peace.

Steve Kimock

Much love to both you Mr. Kimock & Bernie! We lost a friend this week as well and he absolutely fell in love with the both of you during your 2013 tour. Thank you for the music; as it has been a source of joy in an otherwise tragic time. I’m sorry we both lost a good friend. Peace and Love.

I am so sad he is gone. I had a chance to chat with him in Raleigh a couple years ago. He loved you Steve!

Kimock(son and dad), Bernie Worell and Andy Hess at the beachcomber on cape cod was and will always be one of the best musical moments of my life. Spent the first set standing/dancing behind Bernies right shoulder and the second set was planted front and center. Just great Burning Down The House and Sugaree.
